Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at GenZbookcompany. We value your trust and aim to provide the best service possible. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Return Window

You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To ensure a smooth return process, please note the following conditions:

  • Condition: The book must be in its original packaging, with no signs of use, folded pages, marks, or spine damage.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must have the receipt or proof of purchase (order number).

  • Unboxing Video (Recommended): For damaged or incorrect items, we highly recommend recording a clear unboxing video. This helps us expedite your claim with our logistics partners.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned:

  • Digital products or E-books (if applicable).

  • Books that show visible signs of wear, writing, or damage not present at the time of delivery.

  • Items purchased during a "Clearance Sale" or "Flash Sale" (unless damaged upon arrival).

4. Process for Returns

  1. Initiate Request: Email us at [Insert Your Email Address] or WhatsApp us at [Insert Phone Number] with your Order ID and the reason for return.

  2. Pickup: Once your return is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup through our logistics partner.

  3. Inspection: Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

5. Refunds

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (Credit Card, UPI, or Bank Transfer).

  • Processing Time: You will receive the credit within 5-7 business days, depending on your card issuer's or bank's policies.

  • COD Orders: For Cash on Delivery orders, you will be asked to provide bank details or a UPI ID for the refund transfer.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged during transit, or if the wrong edition/title was sent. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us immediately.

7. Shipping Costs

  • Defective/Incorrect Items: If the return is due to our error (wrong book, damaged copy), GenZbookcompany will bear all shipping costs.

  • Change of Mind: For returns due to a change of mind, a nominal return shipping fee may be deducted from your refund amount.

8. Cancellations

You can cancel your order before it has been dispatched. Once the order is out for delivery (especially for our Delhi-NCR Same Day Delivery service), cancellations may not be possible, and the return policy will apply instead.
